About this hunt

Fully Guided Hunt Spike Camps Food & Drinks Trophy Preparation Embark on an unforgettable 10-day adventure deep into the Alaskan wilderness, where the quest for a trophy moose offers not only the potential for a remarkable harvest but also the thrill of true, untamed terrain. This hunt is designed for those who crave the challenge of rugged landscapes and the physical demands of wilderness hunting, with every day offering a new opportunity to connect with Alaska’s vast, untouched wild. While there’s a strong chance of encountering your quarry, this experience is about more than a guarantee—it's about the adventure and the resilience you bring to it. With experienced guides by your side, you'll traverse stunning, remote landscapes in pursuit of one of North America’s most impressive game animals. From the crisp air at dawn to the satisfaction of navigating the wild, each moment will test and reward your skills and determination. Prepare for a journey that goes beyond the pursuit of a moose, into the heart of what makes wilderness hunting a true adventure. What to Expect: Day 1: Arrive at the designated meeting point and meet your guide and fellow hunters. After a safety briefing and equipment check, take a chartered flight to the remote base camp, located deep in moose country. Settle into camp, get familiar with the surroundings, and enjoy a hearty welcome dinner prepared by the camp cook. Day 2-3: Begin each day at dawn, scouting prime areas for moose activity with your guide. Spend time glassing and tracking signs along ridges, valleys, and open meadows, covering terrain on foot or by boat, depending on conditions. These first days will focus on getting familiar with the land and locating promising areas for your hunt. Day 4-8: This is the core of the hunt, where we actively pursue trophy bulls. Expect early mornings and full days in the field, calling, stalking, and waiting in carefully chosen spots. Your guide will help position you for the best chances of success based on weather, patterns, and recent sightings. Each day ends with a return to camp for a warm meal and rest around the fire. Day 9: If you haven’t yet harvested a moose, this is the final day to pursue your trophy. Guides will lead you to known hot spots to make the most of this last opportunity. If successful, you'll spend time with the guide field dressing and preparing the animal for transport. Day 10: Break down camp and prepare for departure. Reflect on the week’s adventures over a final breakfast at camp. Depart via charter flight back to the main point of entry, where you’ll part ways with guides and new friends, bringing home memories and stories from Alaska’s unforgettable wilderness.
