What to Expect: Day 1: Arrival and Afternoon Hunt12:00 PM – Arrival and Welcome Check in at TFZ Ranch and meet your guide. Unpack, get settled into your accommodations, and enjoy a light lunch. 2:00 PM – Orientation and First Hunt Safety briefing, gear preparation, and target practice at the range if needed. Head out into the field for your first Axis deer hunt. The afternoon is prime time to spot and stalk these elusive and alert deer. 6:30 PM – Return to Lodge Relax and enjoy a hearty, ranch-style dinner. Share stories from the hunt and unwind under the Texas night sky around the fire pit. Day 2: Morning Hunt and Departure5:30 AM – Early Breakfast and Morning Hunt Enjoy a hot breakfast and coffee before heading out at first light. Pursue Axis deer during peak activity hours, with opportunities for spotting mature bucks and herds moving across the property. 10:00 AM – Return to Lodge and Wrap-Up Return to the lodge to process your harvest and enjoy a final round of refreshments. Discuss optional processing or taxidermy services with the TFZ team. 12:00 PM – Departure Pack up, say your goodbyes, and leave with unforgettable memories and a well-earned trophy.
